Your Home Fitness Trainer

Hey, I'm Ryan, the creator of Apartment Athlete Blog! I started this space to share simple, effective ways to stay fit at home—no fancy gym required. I want to inspire people to stay active and pursue their body goals, even without equipment. 


Apartment Athlete is about real fitness that gives you real results, whether you’re just starting out, working with limited space, or trying to stay consistent. I will be frequently updating this blog and adding many posts to cater to all sorts of goals, whether it is muscle gain, strength gain, weight loss, cardio improvement, and many more!


I am an active college student and have worked out for over 3 years. My goal right now is to gain muscle and size. Throughout my journey, I have tried many different training styles and exercises- from bodyweight circuits to push/pull splits, to experimenting with dumbbells and resistance bands at home. These experiences have taught me what works, what doesn’t, and how to stay consistent even with a busy schedule or limited space.


I'm not a personal trainer, nor do I have all the knowledge when it comes to home fitness. Just someone who’s figured out what works through trial and error, and countless hours working out. I know what works for me, but what works for me dosen't work for everyone. I'm just here to share the knowledge I've gained over the years and help out anyone who needs it. No matter how young or how old, or what situation.
